Great looking car.

That's a great looking car, thanks for signing up. The site is relatively new, but great to see some rotary enthusiasts here. Can you explain the difference between the normal RX4 and the Luce?

Are you thinking of getting another one or do you have another classic japanese car currently?

Hi gav240z and thanks, yes I

Hi gav240z and thanks, yes I do currently have a classic rotary Mazda, it is my 11th one since my RX-4.
The Luce is JDM, the RX-4 is export, apart from that, the only difference's are the badges.
The Luce did however have some extra options available like electric window's,air conditioning and vinyl roof to name a few.
Mazda reserved the R and RX disignations for prototype and export model rotary cars. The JDM models were badged Cosmo,Familia,Luce,Capella and Savanna.

Hey mate,

Thanks for the reply, I am still learning about the old Mazda's and the model variations. I've been more of a Nissan man, but before I bought a S30 Zed I wanted an RX4. I'm interested in the RX3's in particular but have an interest in all early Rotary cars.

What are the other cars you own?
